Running Away

Everyone else was laughing. Except ME! I looked down at myself when I decided to run out side. I ran out of the cafeteria. As I left the cafeteria I could hear everyoneʼs shouts getting even louder, and the laughter turning into roars. I ran outside just to see that it was pouring rain outside. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I sat down against the cold hard brick wall. My curly hair uncurled and fell to my waist. My clothes were drenched in rain and tears. I wondered why everyone had laughed at me. I mean, what had I done wrong? I know that I am sometimes weird, and that I am usually laughed at, but not usually this hard!

" I tried to blink back more tears as The rain beat down on me harder. I slowly got up and walked over to the edge of the school gate, looking at the brightly lighted houses by the road. Nobody knew that I was standing alone, small and miserable feeling. I decided to leave school. I opened the large school gates, and slipped out to the large new world that I had just entered.
